ISO 7 & ISO 8 Medical Device Cleanroom Project in Namibia
Project Summary
In 2024, DERSION delivered a 300㎡ modular cleanroom project for the medical device industry in Namibia, featuring both ISO 7 and ISO 8 controlled environments. The facility was designed to accommodate different cleanliness requirements for medical device manufacturing processes. By integrating multiple cleanliness grades within one modular cleanroom facility, the project provides a flexible layout and a controlled production environment tailored to the customer’s operational needs.
Project Overview
Medical device manufacturing requires effective contamination control to help protect product quality and maintain consistent production conditions. Different manufacturing processes may require different levels of environmental cleanliness, depending on the products and applicable regulatory requirements.
In 2024, DERSION completed a 300㎡ modular cleanroom project in Namibia, incorporating ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanroom areas within one facility.
The project combines two cleanliness classifications to accommodate different production requirements. Its modular construction approach supports flexible space planning and efficient installation while allowing the cleanroom layout to be adapted to the customer’s operational needs.
This project demonstrates DERSION’s experience in providing modular cleanroom solutions for the medical device industry and supporting international customers with different cleanroom classification requirements.
